In this style of leadership, the leader is responsible for giving initiative and it is driven from the top, but also travels up and down the pyramid to check that each member is performing his appointed task. The appropriate diagram here is a pyramid one with a tight control from the top. This virtue of this style is that it provides coherence, good organization and careful planning. Bewilderment and Disorientation are less likely with this leadership.
The administration could be perfected by thorough self-examination. The word "administration" however, comes from the same root as 'Ministry' and it is one of the gifts of the Spirit (1 Corinthians 12:28). The danger of classical leadership, on the other hand is that it can become remote and impersonal.
The organizational efficiency may become a barrier to close relationships at work. Efficiency and Organization need to be balanced by flexibility and sensitivity to people's needs.
